Sparks in the Park! Saturday, June 24 | Gates open at 4 p.m. For the entire family. Gates open at 4 p.m. with all-day entertainment for children, with games and giant sandbox, climbing wall, bounce houses, kiddie train, RRAD tanks and truck, plus activities in the Ag Learning Center, barnyard, ice cream eating contests, photo fair food and much, much more! Opening ceremonies will begin at 6 p.m. with live bands to follow. Contests include Strollers and Rollers, patriotic costumes, Oreo Stacking, Seed Spitting and MORE. FIREWORKS at 9:30! Presented for our community by the City of Texarkana Arkansas, Southwest Arkansas Electric REA, Bowie Cass Electric and Townsquare Media and the Four States Fairgrounds along with local sponsors and TownSquare Media.
Fitness Expo 2017. Saturday, June 24 | 9 a.m.-4 p.m. START your day at the Fairgrounds. For young to old, families to fitness fanatics, health gurus and everyone in between! Whether you want to learn about weight loss and nutrition, Grass Volleyball tournament, run a 5K, Big Bench competition, Yoga/CrossFit/Strength Training/Powerlifting/Jiu-Jitsu/Karate/Self Defense/demos, Muscle cars. Meet Olympians, IFBB Pro, a World Powerlifting Champion; USPA Sanctioned Powerlifting competition. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Bunch Woodview Center.

Movies on the Lawn: Sunset Boulevard. Friday, June 23 | 7:30 p.m. The Texarkana Museums System continues their summer movies on the lawn at Ace of Clubs House! Gates open at 7:30 with concessions and fun. Movie begins at 8:15 or sundown. $3 or free to TMS members.
Photo Sleuthing Workshop. Saturday, June 24 | 1 p.m. Learn how to identify and date old photographs for research and collecting. At the Ahern Home Museum. Texarkana Museums System: $5 for members, $10 non-members.
SAGE Summer Talks: Bob Bruggeman. Thursday, June 22 | 6:30 p.m. Enjoy some time with Mayor Bob Bruggeman as he shares his perspectives on“The State of the City of Texarkana, Texas” on the Texarkana College Campus/ Social Sciences Building. Free to the public.
Story Time at the Texarkana Public Library. Wednesday, June 21 | 10 a.m. Get the kids out for a treat!
