Cooper Tire and Rubber Co.’s operations in Texarkana recently received the Arkansas Governor’s Award for Excellence in Global Trade, recognizing their innovative methods for doing business internationally, growing international business, and developing a substantial portion of business in the international marketplace. Cooper Texarkana Plant Manager Scott Cole says, “We have an outstanding team in Texarkana... It is exciting that the high quality, great-performing tires we make and distribute out of Texarkana are sold and end up on vehicles around the globe. We are pleased to be an important part of our state’s economy and the global tire industry.”
