1. Free Halloween fun for KIDS on Tuesday, Oct. 31!

 

2. Halloween Fun for Grownups on Oct. 31

  • Moonlight & Movies: Rocky Horror Picture Show. 6:30-11:30 p.m. Ace of Clubs House. Gather on the lawn for the classic Rocky Horror Picture Show. First showing starts at sundown (7:15) and second showing starts at midnight. Gates open at 6:30. TMS members free; others $5. BYOB—there will be snacks and sodas for sale, but you can bring your own! 

  • Haunted Texarkana Ghost Walk. Tour begins at 9 p.m. Celebrate Halloween with a ghost tour of Downtown Texarkana! Meet at 202 E. Broad St. Tickets are $15; must be 10+ to attend. 

3. TRAHC presents Pinkalicious, The Musical. Saturday, Nov. 4, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Perot Theatre. Based on the popular children’s book. In addition to the show, a total of 200 VIP Tea Tickets are available of the Pinkalicious Tea Party after each show for ticket holders. This pink-filled party is sponsored by Women for the Arts. 

4. Red Kettle and Angel Tree Kickoff. Friday, Nov. 3, 10-11 a.m. The Salvation Army Texarkana Corps will kick off the 2017 Christmas season with the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary decorating and placing “Angels” on the Christmas tree at Central Mall.

5. Blues, Booze, & Shoes: A Gatsby Extravaganza. Saturday, Nov. 4, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Silvermoon on Broad. Join the Texarkana Museums System as they raise funds and awareness for the Ace of Clubs House with a 1920s themed Gatsby Extravaganza. Tickets.

6. Joseph Raymond Fine ART Show.Thursday, Nov. 2, 5-9 p.m. Five artists, four hours, one night. Featuring art by Tyler Arnold, Joseph Raymond, Cindy Holmes, Jared Horton, and James Hayes. At the Omega Building in Downtown Texarkana. 

7. Tex*Rep’s The Outsiders. Opens Nov 3, Stilwell Theatre.From the classic movie of the same name that launched the careers of Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze and more. For lots of great info about the show... https://www.facebook.com/texreporg/

8. Indoor Yard Sale - Townsquare Media. Nov. 4-5, 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Four States Fair Entertainment Center. $2 per person. For booth space rental, contact Townsquare Media at 870-772-3771. Climate controlled! 

9. Get Outside. Take the family out on our city trails in Arkansas and Texas and enjoy the cool weather—and the color! Check out the new walking/bike lanes along Cowhorn Creek.

10. Live Music in Texarkana

  • Koe Wetzel at Scottie’s Grill. Friday, Nov. 3. Doors open at 6 p.m.; showtime at 7 p.m. Reserved seats $20 advance; general admission for 18+ $10. A country group from East Texas; Texas rock ’n’ roll with a country blend. Tickets

  • Cody Wayne at Scottie’s Grill. Saturday, Nov. 4. Doors open at 6 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m. Reserved seats $15 in advance; general admission for 18+ $10. Award-winning country singer. Tickets

  • Harvest Rising Band at Fat Jacks Oyster & Sports Bar. Friday Nov. 3, 9-12 p.m. Texas country, red dirt country and classic rock. Live music with great food and drinks.
