59th Annual Pancake Day. Benefits community projects of Kiwanis Club of Texarkana. All you can eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, juice and milk. Black History Month Celebrations
- Join the Black History Celebration from Texarkana College and the Texarkana Community Journal as they feature entertainment by nationally acclaimed comedian Derrick Keener and local vocal sensation Stephanie Casteel-Terry, along with the Arkansas Union Elementary Step Team;TISD Jazz Band; Pleasant Grove Star Steppers; Civic, Greek & Student Organizations. - Free Exhibits! “For All the World to See, Visual Culture and the Struggle for Civil Rights” in RAC through Mar 16. Examines the influence of visual images in shaping and transforming the struggle for racial equality. Also in the RAC through Mar 4. The 14th Annual Reg’l Celebration of African American Artists, exhibit by TRAHC in the Regional Arts Center. Local artists featured in 2017 are Treva West and Cedric Watson.
