  • Rockin’ Road to Dublin - A fusion of rock and Irish, that puts Irish Dance back in the spotlight. A can’t-miss spectacle; the perfect balance between concert and stage show. Mar 10 at 7:30. Perot Theatre. Buy tickets. 

  • Four States Reining. The western riding competition where the riders guide the horses through a precise patterns of circles, spins, and stops. Mar 11-12. Four States Equine Center. Learn more. 

  • Clean Water FUNdraiser - a family-friendly event with carnival-style games, bingo, and hot-dog eating contest, and bake sale. Bounce house and face painting. Hamburger and hot dog supper with $5 plates. ALL proceeds benefit Jenny Walker’s mission trip to build water wells in Africa this summer with Child Legacy International. $7 in advance; $10 at the door.   • Annual Military and First Responders Appreciation Night at Texas A&M University-Texarkana baseball game when the Eagles take on Ouachita Baptist University at 6 p.m. following the presentation of the colors and a moment of silence; wear red to honor everyone deployed.   • While downtown with the kids: Drop your child’s entry in the 2017 Pint-sized Picassos Art Competition - due Sat, Mar 11 by 4 PM. Twelve winning pieces of nature-themed artwork will be selected for use in a unique desk calendar. Winning artists will receive prizes! Open to any Texarkana area child 5–7 years old.
