1. Scout-O-Rama 
April 28-29. Spring Lake Park. The Caddo Area Council of Boy Scouts’ Scout-O-Rama is back again this year at Spring Lake Park in conjunction with the Girl Scouts Diamond Council of TX/AR/LA! Everyone is invited to attend on Saturday and see the showcase of scout craft! The opening ceremony starts at 11AM when the event opens to the public. FREE! Gates open to the public from 10:30 a.m..-4 p.m.

2. International Chili Society’s Sanctioned Chili Cook-Off 
Saturday after Scout-O-Rama opening celebration. Ticket income benefits Caddo Council activities.

The Wizard of Oz 
by Silvermoon Children’s Theatre at Silvermoon on Broad. Quick, what color were Dorothy’s slippers in Frank Baum’s original Oz story? How many different creatures did the travelers meet on their adventure? Get YOUR answers from the original Frank Baum story (vs the movie) adapted for the stage as only SCT can do it. For all audiences who are old enough (or trained enough) to sit, enjoy, and let others enjoy! Fun. Excellent production values. Downtown. A great time for all. A Sporting Clay Shoot “Bustin for Business”
At Rocky Creek Outdoors. Presented by the Texarkana USA Chamber of Commerce and AEP/SWEPCO. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Whether showing up to shoot or watch, fun for all!

7. Saturday, April 28
CLUE meets the Circus at TMS’ Ahern House
Noon-3 p.m. A circus-themed game of Clue continues a month-long celebration of the circus. Popcorn, cotton candy, circus foods and a Clue-inspired fame of sleuthing will take place $10/TMS members $5. Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite.com. Call 903.793.4831

 

8. Saturday, April 28
Relay for Life
Four States Fairgrounds.5K benefitting the American Cancer Society to fund cancer research and patient support.
